PLUMBER

Thanks Anyway for the videos
No, I haven’t BUT the number of schemes keeps changing, as do the financing
deals…it is all very confusing. I suggest that yo/your son contacts the
relevant colleges and discusses the options. Also contact local employers
and discuss apprenticeships…please email me to let me know how you get
on. Regards Graham Martin

since I’ve got to know him…he’s fully qualified has a decent sized co
with a fleet of vehicles…nice house and motor bikes too…!
Yes, we probably all have to be ‘sales people’ today…
Love this VIDEO, Awesome! !
Glad you like it…Hugh is a great guy…since this was recorded his
business has gone bonkers…hard work & a great reputation
your brilliant mate thank you
Hey great video, I’m really thinking about becoming a plumber but
unfortunately I’m quite dyslexic when it comes to maths would that be a big
issue or could i work around it? Any advice would be great!
Hi, this is a significant issue; plumbing is becoming more and more
technical/maths driven. Talk to you local college to find out exactly what
level of maths is needed. Good luck…Graham , The Recruitment Guy
ok thanks very much
My father was a plumber, and had dyslexia he just took his time and double
check his work.
I work on site and make 30k a year an old hand plumber I work with earns
45k + easily (thats with 20 years experiance). 6 months and your qualifieds
nonsense! It took me 3 years before I even started my ACS. You need to be
really careful with training providers offering mickey mouse
qualifications. City and Guild and NVQs are the only qualifications
recognised in the industry other than ACS (for gas)
To be honest iv’e kind of given up on the idea i think if i was younger and
just learnt on the job the maths part wouldn’t of been too much of a
problem but i’m 25 and have bills to pay etc so pretty much fucked xD a
hospital porter i shall stay until i win the lottery -_-
I do construction at school and I’m thinking of taking up plumbing could
anyone advise me if it is a well payed and well respected job and will I
make good money
Hi, in all jobs, some are paid more than others…I’d recommend it if you
are a hard worker and great with people…try for an apprenticeship!
Awesome Video! It inspired and motivate a lot of people. Do you have any
DIY plumbing tricks video?
i went to school for plumbing in 2010 took a $10,000 loan that i gotta pay
back in nj
30 classmates none of us found a job still . 1 year apprentice i got both a
cirtificate and a plumbing deploma still cant get an interview. every were
i ve checked they require 5 years or more in expirence . they and union
had an opening they needed 30 positions filled intry level position, 500
people should up 5 of them were women then only people that got hired are
the ones who had close family in the field. a year later i moved to florida
its even worse because u have alot more racism but not from the white fokes
but the latin and portugees community who runs the construction field in
florida. plumbing is not a great feild to get into because its not about
what u know but who u know. i wish i did more reserch instead of wasting
time and money.
what makes it harder for plumbing is every facility usally hires a handyman
that handles the basic plumbing work like installing and repairing
sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and waterheaters illigally. most maters plumbers in
florida are either unemployed or own thier own bussness because they r too
expensive and nobody wants to hire them because they dont want to pay. i m
adviseing people do go into the construction feild unless u know people
that can bring u in. or know how to speak spanish .
So great video about how to become a plumber. Some would interested to
become a Super Mario after watching this video.:)
Decent advice and good video, stumbled across it.
