Hi I appreciate your videos. I’ve just changed my car’s rear brake shoes

registration is at the end. how do you register that leverage to remain
below?
Synthetic Oil outlast engines than Conventional oil, since engine wear is
minimal and efficiency is increased. Most modern cars do require synthetic
oil since most of them carry 0W-20 weight oil.
Hey scotty got a quick question, my door locks are not working I replaced
the battery on my control and still nothing. The only way my doors lock or
unlock is if the key is in and I used to be able to lock and unlock without
the key in the ignition. Any idea to what it may be?
My truck calls for 10w 30 which I use but up in Pennsylvania our winters
are really cold so I step down to 5w 30 in the winter so that the oil flows
easier on cold starts.
Is that a bad idea or a common missunderstanding?
I use 0W40 fully synthetic Mobil1 in my smart car engine which is what the
manufacturer, aka Mercedes, recommends on it. It also says on the back of
the bottle that the oil is not affected with low temps below freezing which
is good enough for me.
don’t clean it at all, serves no purpose
GREAT video on how to avoid common auto repair mistakes.

you can do that too, but anti seize conducts electricity better than oil.

Great tips, especially on the electrical components. Disconnecting a
battery terminal takes only minutes.

Love your videos, Scotty, but why was the intro and outtro sound so loud in
this one?
you’re better off using a quart of kerosene, that’s what most motor flushes
like K And W are made of anyway.

well, you have to ask to get an answer.
Quick question my 04 Grand Cherokee Says 5W- 30 I only could find 10W- 30
is it that big of a difference?

I hate disconnecting my battery because then when i go to reconnect it the
alarm will go off and i get a hear attack and drop the socket wrench LOL.
I wish you were my neighbor so I could come over and learn about cars every
afternoon!
The W on a oil raiting stands for winter not weight, oil is tested on
weather conditions
We’re u in the airborn
If the correct precautions are not taken, working on automobiles can be
dangerous.
10W40 W=winter….not weight. just sayin

Great videos;P but also mention to check the quality of the oil. that’s
just as important as the viscosity. Keep up the good work
The W stands for Winter grade.. not weight…
